CLOUD SERVICES
Enterprise Cloud: Infrastructure, disaster recovery and backup
Fully managed cloud infrastructure on open architecture, delivered from data centers we own and operate. Predictable, resource-based pricing across every service.
WHY VALOR CLOUD
Public cloud is unpredictable. VMware costs more. So does hardware.
Hyperscale bills are hard to forecast, with compute, storage and data transfer each metered separately. Broadcom’s licensing changes drove VMware costs up industry-wide. And AI demand is pushing server and storage prices higher.
Whatever platform you’re leaving, Valor Cloud is the landing spot: private infrastructure, resource-based pricing and no egress meter.

WHAT WE DELIVER
Fully managed infrastructure, recovery and backup
Managed by our team, priced to how you consume it, on infrastructure we own and operate.
Cloud IaaS
Infrastructure as a service, priced by committed pool or per VM, with no egress fees.
Learn MoreCloud DRaaS
Managed disaster recovery with recovery targets set per workload, from any source to one platform.
Learn MoreCloud BaaS
Veeam-powered backup for your workloads and SaaS data, with immutable offsite storage available.
Learn MoreAVOIDING VENDOR LOCK-IN
Built on open infrastructure, so your data stays portable
Valor Cloud runs on Platform9 Cloud Director on OpenStack, an open source platform, instead of a proprietary hypervisor. Your workloads aren’t tied to a single vendor’s format, and there’s no exit tax when your strategy changes.
OpenStack takes real engineering expertise to run well. Platform9 makes it manageable, and we deliver it fully managed, at the size you need.
HYBRID AND MULTI-CLOUD
One environment across public, private and hybrid cloud
Most enterprises don’t run one cloud. They run a hybrid estate: production on private infrastructure, burst capacity in the public cloud, and recovery somewhere else entirely.
Run VMs beside your colocation racks, reach a hyperscaler through Megaport, and put each workload on the infrastructure that fits it. Public multi-tenant and private single-tenant environments coexist in one deployment.

Your questions about enteprise cloud, answered
What buyers ask when evaluating managed cloud, disaster recovery and backup providers.
What is Valor Cloud?
Valor Cloud is managed cloud infrastructure as a service (IaaS) that runs in our own data centers. It’s built on Platform9 and OpenStack, priced by committed pool or per VM, with no egress fees.
What’s the difference between public, private and hybrid cloud?
Public cloud runs on shared hyperscaler infrastructure. Private cloud is dedicated to one organization. Hybrid cloud combines them, often with on-premises or colocated infrastructure in the mix. Valor Cloud is private cloud infrastructure that connects to public cloud through Megaport when you need it.
Is Valor Cloud a VMware alternative?
Yes. It’s built on Platform9 Cloud Director on OpenStack, an open platform instead of a proprietary hypervisor, with resource-based pricing and migration support to help you move off VMware or another hypervisor.
Can I migrate from VMware to Valor Cloud?
Yes. Many customers move to Valor Cloud after Broadcom’s licensing changes raised their VMware costs. Our cloud engineers plan the migration with you, move workloads in phases, and stay available after cutover.
What is OpenStack, and why does it matter?
OpenStack is an open source cloud platform used across the industry. It avoids the vendor lock-in of a proprietary hypervisor, but it’s hard to run without deep engineering expertise. Platform9 manages it, and we deliver it fully managed.
Can I run public and private cloud together?
Yes. Public multi-tenant or private single-tenant environments are mixable within one deployment, and Megaport cloud on-ramps connect you to the major hyperscalers when you need them.
What’s included in disaster recovery and backup?
DRaaS recovers workloads from any source with recovery targets set per workload. BaaS provides Veeam-powered backup for workloads and SaaS data, including Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Salesforce.
How is cloud pricing structured?
Resource-based pricing, either committed pools or per-VM instances, both flat and forecastable, with no egress fees.
