Colocation Cabinets:
For critical workloads that cannot go down
Secure, locking cabinets with redundant A+B power, cooling and carrier-neutral connectivity, configured around the workload.
INSIDE OUR FACILITIES
Full rack cabinets built for reliability, scale and connectivity
Full rack, locking cabinets in secure, concurrently maintainable facilities, built for production workloads, disaster recovery and long-term growth. Every cabinet provides redundant A+B power, backed by a 24/7/365 on-site operations team.
Carrier neutral connectivity, with an optional in-house blended internet service and cloud on-ramp access via Megaport to AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud and 300+ platforms.
Data Center LOCATIONS
Regional data centers designed for reliability
Locations and facility design chosen for strong networks, stable power grids and low natural disaster risk.
Boise, Idaho
Idaho’s largest colocation campus, BOI-1 and BOI-2, with regional carrier connectivity, low power rates and limited seismic and severe-weather exposure.
Explore Boise
St. George, Utah
100% facility uptime since 2008. Serves southern Utah and the Wasatch Front on a power grid and network path separate from the northern corridor.
Explore St. George
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
A hardened Oklahoma City facility on central U.S. routes, with competitive power and severe-weather rated design. Currently fully leased.

PROVEN RELIABILITY
A record built on 100% data center facility uptime
Redundant power and cooling, N+1 generation, UPS and concurrently maintainable design. Facility operation is measured against a 100% uptime standard, including utility events and maintenance windows.
NETWORK & CONNECTIVITY
Interconnection options for cabinet deployments
Connect your cabinets to the carrier of your choice, in-house blended Internet or Megaport cloud on-ramps.
Carrier-neutral MMRs
Establish cross-connects to on-site carriers without a mandatory house network or a preferred vendor. Architecture determines the interconnect.
Explore ConnectivityBlended IP transit
Two upstream carriers, BGP-based automatic failover and a handoff managed by our network team. Single connection. Single invoice. Traffic continues if one carrier fails.
Explore Blended IPCloud on-ramps
Cloud on-ramp access to AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Private paths with lower egress and less exposure than hairpinning traffic over the public internet.

Managed private cloud, remote hands and interconnection
Virtual infrastructure, on-site technicians and private paths to carriers and clouds.
Managed cloud
Managed IaaS, DRaaS, and BaaS on Valor Cloud. Run it instead of physical servers or alongside your cabinets.

On-site technicians for rack work, swaps, eyes-on-glass and after-hours tasks so you do not drive to the facility for routine work.
Explore Remote HandsCross connects
Interconnects to carriers, blended Internet and Megaport cloud on-ramps from the same meet-me room as larger deployments.

138 years drilling for gold, copper and uranium. Now their infrastructure runs with the same staying power
Boart Longyear has been leading the drilling industry since 1890, with operations in 40 countries. That kind of scale needed a data center partner who could match it.
They moved into ValorC3 Data Centers’ St. George facility in 2017, five racks in a private cage, with Backup and Disaster Recovery built around the facility’s redundant power and failover systems. In 2025, they added a second cage in Boise on a separate grid, for another layer of protection.
“They’re not just there to push a product and get more money. They’re an engaged, hands-on advisor who cares about our success.” — Data Center Operations Manager, Boart Longyear

Your colocation cabinet questions, answered
Straight answers on sizing, power, security and what to expect from your provider.
What is a private cage in a data center?
A private cage is a secured, mesh-enclosed section of the data hall reserved for one customer. It sits between individual cabinets and a fully walled suite, more separation than shared cabinet space, less than a dedicated room. Everything inside the cage, cabinets, cabling, power distribution, belongs to one tenant.
When does a company need a cage instead of a handful of cabinets?
Usually once you’re running enough cabinets that a shared hall stops making sense, or once compliance requires a physically separate access zone with its own badge or key control. Banking, healthcare, and government workloads land in cages more often than general enterprise IT, specifically because auditors want to see that boundary.
How many cabinets fit in a typical cage?
There’s no fixed number. Cages are sized to the deployment, from a handful of cabinets to a much larger footprint, and can expand within the same facility as capacity needs grow. That’s the advantage over a fixed-size product: you’re not boxed into a size that made sense two years ago.
Is a cage more secure than a cabinet?
It adds a real, physical layer on top of the building’s own access control. You get your own locked perimeter inside the facility, separate from other tenants, with access limited to your own badges. For workloads under strict audit requirements, that separate boundary is often the entire reason a customer upgrades from cabinets to a cage.
What’s the difference between a private cage and a private suite?
Mesh versus walls. A cage is a secured, open-mesh enclosure inside the shared hall. A suite is a hard-walled, fully enclosed room with its own entry point. Suites cost more and typically fit larger or longer-term deployments where full physical isolation matters more than the cost difference.
Are remote hands and cross connects included with a cage lease?
No. Cross connects, remote hands, and managed install are billed as add-ons, same as with cabinets. That keeps the base cage rate straightforward instead of bundling in services a customer may not need at that volume.
