CLOUD SERVICES

Cloud BaaS: Backup that runs so your team doesn’t have to

Veeam-powered protection for your workloads and SaaS data, Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Salesforce included. Immutable offsite storage, no second site or tape rotation.

HOW BACKUP WORKS

Your backup needs an owner, and now it has one

Backup tools rarely fail on their own. Jobs go unwatched, licenses lapse, capacity runs out and restores go untested when nobody has the time to own them. The day you need a restore is a hard day to find that out.

Backup as a service makes protection someone’s job, and that someone is us. Our engineers design, deploy and configure the backup environment, then monitor jobs and manage licenses, capacity and offsite copies. You keep control of your data while we help keep protection working.

Backup is one layer of resilience. We run the others too.

WHAT IT COVERS

One managed service, three layers of protection

Workload backup, offsite immutable storage and SaaS protection, all managed by ValorC3.

Veeam Data Platform licenses

Backup for eligible workloads, on-premises or in the cloud. We deploy, run the jobs, watch the reporting and help with restores when needed.

Veeam Data Cloud Vault

Offsite immutable storage for workloads protected by Veeam Data Platform. Copies can’t be altered or deleted, by an attacker or by accident.

Veeam Data Cloud

Backup for Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Salesforce data, stored outside the provider’s walls and restorable down to a mailbox, file or record.

HOW IT’S PRICED

Pay for what you protect

Licenses, offsite storage and SaaS backup are each priced the way you consume them, with no storage math on the SaaS side.

Per workload
Veeam Data Platform licenses, priced per workload

Per TB
Vault offsite storage, priced per terabyte stored

Per user
SaaS backup, priced per user with storage included

CLOUD BACKUP USE CASES

Where managed cloud backup earns its keep

One managed path to recovery for your workloads and your SaaS data.

Ransomware

Attackers go after backups first. Immutable offsite copies can’t be encrypted or deleted, so recovery stays on the table.

SaaS data

Microsoft and Salesforce keep the service running, not a recovery copy of your data. That part is on you. This covers it.

Offsite copies

Veeam Data Cloud Vault holds an immutable copy offsite. No second site to build, no appliance to buy and no tapes to rotate.

Accidential deletion

A purged mailbox, an overwritten record, a deleted site. Native retention windows are short. Restore from yours instead.

Compliance

Meet your retention and recoverability requirements, with job reporting that shows auditors your protection is working.

VMs and servers

Protect your virtual machines and servers on premises or in the cloud, with offsite vault copies for eligible workloads.

Identity and security infrastructure

Domain controllers, security tooling and monitoring stacks next to the rest of production.

Batch processing and rendering

Modeling, rendering and short-window jobs that need a lot of compute for a little while.

Cloud repatriation

Workloads coming back from hyperscale when the bill stops making sense. Predictable pricing changes the math.

VEEAM PARTNERSHIP

Veeam technology, run by a Veeam Gold Partner

ValorC3 is a Veeam Gold Cloud & Service Provider partner. Veeam licensing, SaaS data protection and secure cloud storage come together in one managed service, so you aren’t piecing together tools, storage and support yourself.

You keep control of your data. Our engineers watch the jobs and the offsite copies, and someone who knows your environment is ready when you need a restore.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Your cloud backup questions, answered

What cloud buyers ask when evaluating managed backup and SaaS data protection.

What is backup as a service (BaaS)?

BaaS is managed backup delivered as a service. Instead of buying licenses and running backup jobs yourself, a provider designs, runs and monitors the environment for you. With Valor Cloud BaaS, our engineers manage Veeam-powered protection while you keep control of your data.

What does Valor Cloud BaaS include?

BaaS brings together three Veeam layers: Veeam Data Platform licenses for eligible workloads, Veeam Data Cloud Vault for offsite immutable storage, and Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Salesforce. We design, deploy and configure the environment, then monitor jobs and manage licenses, capacity and offsite copies.

What’s the difference between BaaS and DRaaS?

Backup keeps copies of your data so you can restore it. DRaaS brings your workloads back online after an outage. Many customers run both, with BaaS protecting the data and DRaaS restoring the service.

Can backup protect me from ransomware?

Attackers go after backups first, so your backup copies need protection of their own. Immutable offsite copies in Veeam Data Cloud Vault can’t be encrypted or deleted, which keeps recovery on the table. Pair BaaS with DRaaS when you also need to bring workloads back online.

Does Microsoft back up my Microsoft 365 data?

Microsoft keeps the service running, but protecting and restoring your data is your responsibility under its shared responsibility model. Replicated copies include deletions and corruption, and native retention windows are limited. Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365 keeps an independent copy of your Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams and Entra ID data.

Does Salesforce back up my data?

Salesforce keeps internal copies for its own disaster recovery, not for customer restoration, and deleted records sit in the recycle bin for a limited time. Veeam Data Cloud for Salesforce backs up your data, files and metadata and can restore records, field values and files.

What is an immutable backup?

An immutable backup can’t be altered or deleted once it’s written, so ransomware and accidental deletes can’t touch it. Veeam Data Cloud Vault stores offsite copies this way for workloads protected by Veeam Data Platform.

Where is my backup data stored?

Offsite copies in Veeam Data Cloud Vault sit in Microsoft Azure storage that Veeam manages, and SaaS backups run in Veeam Data Cloud. Our engineers manage the service on your behalf. Ask us about region options for your requirements.

How is Valor Cloud BaaS priced?

Veeam licenses are priced per protected workload. Vault is per TB, and Veeam Data Cloud is per user with storage included. There’s no storage math on the SaaS side.

How is ValorC3 BaaS different from buying Veeam licenses directly?

Licensing is the starting point, not the service. We design, deploy and configure the backup environment, then monitor jobs and manage licenses, capacity and offsite copies, so your team doesn’t run it.
